PREVIOUS ARREST – Lila Aghaebrahimi is pictured being arrested in August 2023 on a complaint of drug trafficking. She was arrested at her home, which is near two elementary schools in Kingfisher, by then KPD Lt. Dustin Brodrick (left) and then-Chief Dav

A month after pleading guilty to felony drug charges, a Kingfisher woman was arrested and later charged for yet another drug-related crime.

Charged Dec. 12 in Kingfi sher County District Court was Lila Michele Aghaebrahimi, 44.

She faces a felony count of distribution of controlled dangerous substance, including possession with intent to distribute.

There is also a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

She appeared in court Wednesday and pleaded not guilty.

Her next court appearance is 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Aghaebrahimi was arrested Dec. 11 after a search warrant was executed by Kingfisher Police Department officers and Kingfisher Sheriff’s Office deputies at 518 W. Erwin, according to a police report filed by Aaron Schlegel of the Kingfi sher Police Department.

The residence is near both Kingfisher Heritage Elementary and Kingfisher Upper Elementary schools.

The search warrant was sought after a previous arrestee for possession of methamphetamine told offi cers he had purchased the drug from Aghaebrahimi at that residence earlier that day, according to the report.

Among the evidence taken from multiple rooms in Aghaebrahimi’s home included a black digital scale, a green plastic bowl containing a white crystal-like substance, a white container with crystal-like substance, a yellow folded paper bindle that contained a “white crystal/powder” substance that also appeared to have a brown substance, a glass plate with white crystal substance on it, a clear baggy with crystal-like residue, two glass smoking pipes with white and black residue, a plastic bottle smoking device “believed to be a methamphetamine pipe” and a broken green glass pipe, according to the probable cause affidavit attached to the case.

The report also stated Schlegel field tested two pieces of evidence, both of which tested positive for methamphetamine.

Also, the previous person arrested told officers he paid $20 for his methamphetamine from Aghaebrahimi.

When conducting their search, officers located a $20 bill next to a digital scale in Aghaebrahimi’s bedroom.

That person’s methamphetamine was in a clear plastic wrapper, the type “that goes around a cigarette pack,” according to the PC affidavit.

While executing the search warrant, Schlegel said it was noticed Aghaebrahimi had two packs of cigarettes on her bed. One was missing the plastic wrapper.

“It is believed that was because she used that wrapper for the drugs she had sold,” Schlegel wrote in his report.

He later wrote: “Based on the amount of drugs, different containers of drugs, digital scales and assorted drug paraphernalia, I believe Lila is selling methamphetamine.”

Aghaebrahimi was previously in court on Nov. 12 at which time she pleaded guilty to a 2023 felony count of trafficking in illegal drugs, according to court records.

She received a 15-year sentence and a $25,000 fine, both of which were suspended.

On Dec. 12, District Attorney Tommy Humphries filed a motion to revoke the suspended sentence for violating the terms of her probation.

Among several reasons listed was the most recent felony charge.

The hearing for that motion to revoke will be held Jan. 7.

Aghaebrahimi had been arrested in August 2023 and later charged with the count of trafficking.

The arrest came after KPD officers and Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents executed a search warrant on Aghaebrahimi’s home on Aug. 3, 2023.

Officers filed for the warrant in relation to a homicide investigation after the body of Peggy Lynnette Bollenbach was discovered deceased in a room at the Cattlemen’s Inn.

Among those initially questioned was Bollenbach’s known boyfriend, Joseph Gregory Hayslip. Officers located him at Aghaebrahimi’s home and he was later charged with Bollenbach’s murder.

He also saw an additional felony charge for possession of controlled dangerous substance.

After officers located Hayslip at Aghaebrahimi’s home, they filed for a search warrant to search for possible evidence of the homicide.

A KPD report said a search for illegal drugs was also included in the warrant.

The search turned up several items that led to Aghaebrahimi’s arrest.

According to the KPD report from her most recent arrest, when officers discovered what they felt was enough evidence, they told Aghaebrahimi she was going to be placed under arrest.

“She stated that she didn’t understand why she would be arrested when she was in her own house,” according to Schlegel’s report. “I told her that it is still illegal to possess a controlled and dangerous substance.”
