Hadley Ott of Lomega FFA took second place in the FFA creed speaking division of the state FFA speech contest during the 2023 Oklahoma FFA Interscholastics at Oklahoma State University on April 28.

This division allows ninth-grade FFA members to recite the FFA Creed written by E.M. Tiffany. The students are judged on their ability to deliver the creed effectively and to answer judges’ questions about agriculture and FFA.

Corbin Robbins of Chattanooga won the event.

Robbins, Ott and three others who placed in the top five each presented a paragraph of the creed during the fourth general session of the Oklahoma FFA Convention last month.
