The annual Lomega FFA Banquet was held May 8.

The presentation of the FFA Creed was given by Hadley Ott, Saidee Wright, Isabel Hansen and Kinsley Fisher.

The members who met the requirements to be awarded The Discovery Degree were Joann Bildger, Kase Glazier, Noah Lentz, Laken Lewallen, Lennon Lukasek, Jackie Penaran, Maddy Pope, Braely Stitt and Bree Yost.

The Star Discovery Degree recipient was Claire Myers.

The individuals who met the requirement to receive their Greenhand Degree were Kash Banister, Taylynn Buzzard, Wyatt Schweitzer, Carter Eck, Mason Espy, Kinsley Fisher, Colby Gunlach, Isabel Hansen, Cameron Ramer, Diego Reyna, Diego Rivera, Brenden Uhlenhake, Paige Wheeler, Saidee Wright and Lance Yost.

The Star Greenhand Degree recipient was Hadley Ott.

Juniors who met the requirements in order to be eligible to receive their Chapter Degree award were Austin Chestnut, Traver Duffy, Trevor Lentz, Abby Swart, Alex Woodring, Blake Yost and Kyte Yost.

The Star Chapter Degree was awarded to Braxton Murray.

Five individuals from the Lomega chapter received their State FFA Degree on Wednesday, May 4, at the State FFA Convention in Tulsa: Rylee Glazier, Madi Myers, Kelby Ott, Kade Shaloy and Brooks Uhlenhake.

Rylee Glazier was also named Northwest Area Star in Agriculture Placement.

The Honorary Chapter Degree award went to Jordan and Laramie Lopp for their dedication that has allowed members to push the chapter of Lomega FFA to the next level. We would like to thank Mr. Lopp sincerely for being a great leader and adviser for the last six years at Lomega.

The Lomega FFA was represented by three state FFA finalists in their respective proficiency areas.

They were Brooks Uhlenhake in Agricultural Repair and Maintenance Entrepreneurship, placing second at state; Madi Myers in Ag Sales Entrepreneurship, placing second at state; and Rylee Glazier in Diversified Ag Production Placement, also placing second at state.

The Chapter Star Farmer was awarded to Braxton Murray, the Chapter Star Placement award went to Rylee Glazier and the Chapter Star Business award was given to Madi Myers.

The 2022-2023 banquet came to an end with the announcement of the new Lomega FFA officer team:.

They are: Braxton Murray, president; Kate Myers, vice president; Hadley Ott, secretary; Saidee Wright, reporter; Abby Swart, treasurer; Chloe Meier, sentinel; and Mason Espy, chaplain.
