Lomega got big fourth quarters - and big games - from a trio of Raiders to grab another road win.

Kelby Ott, Blake Snowden and Owen Duffy scored all but 20 of the team’s points Tuesday in the final frame as the Raiders held off Drummond 58-52.

Drummond outscored Lomega 12-8 in the third quarter to pull within two points.

Then the Bulldogs’ Braylen Peters got red-hot in the final frame as he scored 10 of his 18 points.

But Lomega had more firepower.

Ott scored seven of his 12 points, including a late 3-pointer.

Snowden hit his fourth 3-pointer of the game in the fourth to kick-start a sixpoint quarter for the senior.

He finished with a teamhigh 18 points.

Duffy added five of his 15 points as Lomega improved to 2-0.

Duffy scored four points in the first quarter as the Raiders built up a 15-8 lead.

Snowden knocked down a pair of treys and scored seven in the second quarter as Lomega took a 30-24 halftime lead.

The team had just three third-quarter field goals as Drummond was able to slash its deficit.

Lady Raiders put away solid Drummond squad

Even when Lomega isn’t hitting on all cylinders, it’s got more cylinders than most.

Abby Swart and Sydni Walker delivered big performances Tuesday in the Lady Raiders’ 59-40 road win at Drummond.

The duo combined for 43 points as Lomega pulled away in the second half against a Lady Bulldog team that won 18 games a year ago and advanced to the area tournament.

Lomega led by just two points after a quarter, but stretched it to 10 points at halftime.

Swart made three 3-pointers and Walker scored five points to give the Lady Raiders all 14 of their second-quarter points.

Walker’s surge continued in the third quarter.

The junior post player poured in another 10 points as the Lady Raiders extended the advantage to 48-30.

The lead grew to as many as 27 points before Drummond scored the final eight points of the game.

Lomega made eight 3-pointers in the game.

Swart, a sophomore, delivered six of them. She led all scorers with 24 points.

Walker ended her night with 19 points.

Darcy Roberts added nine for the Lady Raiders, six in the second half.

Drummond was led by Emma Spring’s 12 points.
