A fish fry fundraiser to help keep the Hennessey Senior Citizen Center open is Saturday, Sept. 18.

It’s begins at 5 p.m. and cost is by donation.

Senior citizens are partnering with Coronado Masonic Lodge No. 56 in Hennessey to stage the fundraiser.

The COVID pandemic has affected the attendance at the center, but utilities must still be paid, said a senior.

The center is located at 620 E. Second St., Hennessey, 73742, and donations may also be sent to that address.
