Matthew Schaefer is the son of Dillon Schaefer and Sha Melvin.

He is 8 years old and in the second grade.

This is his first year as a Cloverbud.

His favorite part of being a member are the fun meetings each month.

Other favorites include playing soccer (thing to do outside), play video games (thing to do at home), popsicles (after-school snack), hamster (animal) and “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars (song).

Matthew wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up.

He said we can make the world a better place by having good manners.
