Kingfisher Public Schools will have its share of new staff members this year.

The district has an event planned this Monday (July 24) to give students and parents a chance to meet those newcomers.

An ice cream social will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Kingfisher Junior High commons.

The new staff members who have been hired by the district will be on hand.

They’ll be introduced to the crowd by their re- spective principals from Gilmour Elementary (Makylah Tollefson), Heritage Elementary (Lisa Meier), Kingfisher Upper Elementary (Erin Michael), Kingfisher Junior High (Chris Farris) and Kingfi sher High School (John Harris).

KPS Superintendent David Glover will also be at the event, which will include free ice cream and cookies.
