Commissioners approved monthly reports for the election board, a letter to the Oklahoma Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services in support of the sheriff’s offi ce request for $49,609 in funding for local services, a contract with Western Plains Youth and Family Services in Woodward for housing juvenile offenders as needed for fiscal year 2025 at a cost of $68 per day and a request by Ace Land, Inc., for a pipeline road crossing permit located four miles north of Kingfisher near the U.S. 81 curve in District 1.
All commissioners were present – Moss, chairman; Ray Alan Shimanek, District 1, vice chairman, and Anthony Schwarz, District 3, as well as County Clerk Jeannie Boevers, minute clerk, and County Engineer Nik Smith.
