Homeowners in Kingfisher County may be able to get a sizable rebate to install a new storm shelter.

Kingfisher County Emergency Management has an informational meeting planned later this month about a potential rebate up to $3,000.

Those interested can attend the come-and-go meeting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

To be eligible, the person who applies must be the homeowner, it must be the primary residence and the home must be located within Kingfisher County.

Units that have already been installed will not be eligible for a rebate.
