Maci Mendell of Loyal and Will Bedwell of Okeene exchanged wedding vows in a ceremony held Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at The Range in Stillwater.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Brandi Mendell of Loyal and the granddaughter of Gary and Candy Parker of Kingston and the late Theo and Rosalie Mendell and the late Derald Vest.

The bridegroom is the son of Kelly and Becky Bedwell of Okeene and the grandson of the late Bill and Barbara Bedwell and the late Richard and Jacki Larkin.

Pastor Gaylon Cox of Okeene officiated the ceremony.

Taylor Daugherty of Edmond, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were McKenzi Lamer of Loyal, Hailey Duffy of Kingfisher, Mikey Pitman of Dallas, Lizzy Tatum and Addie Chapman of Edmond, and Jae Burchard of Denver, Colo.

Flower girl was Collins Mitchel, daughter of Jared and Haley Mitchel of Kingfi sher.

Serving as best man was Tanner Bedwell of Norman.

The groomsmen were Blake Bedwell of Okeene, Austin Mendell of Omega, Branson Daugherty of Edmond, Chance Bedwell and Tanner O’Kelley of Okeene, Trek Rundle of Roswell, N.M., Tanner Allen of Waynoka and Brandon Case of Fairview.

Ring bearer was Crew Mitchel, son of Jared and Haley Mitchel.

The wedding venue also served as the site of the reception. The food was catered by Pepperoni Grill of Edmond and the drinks by Woody’s Liquor of Okarche.

The bridegroom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding at the Oklahoma State University Alumni Center in Stillwater.

The bride is a 2017 graduate of Lomega High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from OSU in 2021.

She is currently a second grade teacher at Lomega Elementary.

The bridegroom is a 2014 graduate of Okeene High School.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business from OSU in 2018 and is currently employed with Mountain Country Foods in Okeene.

The couple currently resides at their home in Okeene and are planning a wedding trip to St. Lucia in March 2023.
