Dover High School graduate Madison Moeller has been announced as the 2022 John A. Francis Scholarship winner.

The $1,000 scholarship is presented annually by the Kingfisher Rotary Club to a graduate of a Kingfisher County school who has completed at least one year at a college or university.

Moeller is currently a marketing major at Baylor University.

The daughter of Debbi and Mike Moeller, she already has 46 credit hours toward that degree and carries a 3.9 GPA.

While at Dover, Moeller was active in FFA, Student Council, basketball and softball and was also on the academic team, among other activities.

She served as the FFA chapter president, was named to the superintendent’s honor roll all four years, was inducted into the National Honor Society and was valedictorian of the class of 2021.

In her scholarship application, Moeller said she plans to work toward a career in sports marketing.
