Kingfisher High School seniors Jacee Mueggenborg and James Perdue have been announced as the January 2022 Junior Lions by the local Lions Club.

Mueggenborg is the daughter of Cory and Carrie Mueggenborg.

She is active in cross country and track, among other activities.

She’s been inducted into the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

She has earned the 4.0 Award and currently serves as the NHS historian.

Mueggenborg was a member of the 2020 KHS girls cross country team that finished third at the Class 4A state meet.

She said she plans to attend college and pursue a business degree.

Perdue is the son of Jim and Debra Perdue.

He’s active in FFA, 4-H, baseball, Business Professionals of America and Student Council, among others.

Perdue has also been inducted into NHS and OHS and was also an Oklahoma Boys State delegate.

He has earned the Chapter FFA Degree and the Chapter Star.

Perdue was part of a state champion ag issues forum team and has also been inducted into the Kingfisher County 4-H Hall of Fame.

He plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in biosystems engineering.
