Kingfisher High School seniors Xavier Ridenour and Emily Myers are the April 2023 Junior Lions.

The two were guests at recent meetings of the Kingfi sher Lions Club.

Ridenour is the son of Travis and Angelita Ridenour.

He’s active in basketball, tennis, track, FCA, BPA, has served as STUCO vice president and is a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.

Ridenour has been a part of two state championship basketball teams, was selected as OCA District 1 player of the year and All-State and is a two-time all-conference basketball team selection.

His other activities include Students Stepping Up, Fish Club, First Baptist Church youth group and he was selected as student of the month.

Ridenour plans to attend college.

Myers is the daughter of Jeff and Candyce Myers.

She’s active in basketball, track, STUCO, FCA, served as FCCLA vice president and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Myers also has been listed on the principal’s and superintendent’s honor rolls, served as basketball team captain and was selected as basketball homecoming queen and football homecoming royalty.

She was selected as an OCA All-Star basketball team member and is a member of Sts. Peter and Paul youth group.

Myers plans to major in physical therapy at Oklahoma State University.
