The following teachers were hired by the Hennessey Board of Education during its Feb. 13 meeting in the Seminar Room at the HPS Auditorium.

Kimberly (Riddle) Lester lives in Stillwater and is a 2004 HHS grad who was hired as the speech pathologist for the fall school year. She is the daughter of Tim Riddle, of Hennessey, and the late Diane (Pollard) Riddle. Kimberly and her husband, Trey, a 2003 HHS grad, will return home to Hennessey with their three daughters: Morgan, 8; Quinn, 3, and Kennedy, five months.

Education: She graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s in communication sciences and disorders in May 2008 and earned her master’s in 2010 and is a speech-language pathologist.

Experience: Ponca City Public Schools, 2010-13, where she conducted assessments, developed individual education programs, and provided therapy in group and individual settings for students. She is currently teaching at the Stillwater Public Schools where she has worked since 2013. In addition to assessing students, their programs and individual sessions, she also collaborates with other faculty. She has also supervised OSU students completing their clinical fellowship year.

Jacob Bullis lives in Waukomis and was hired as the high school math teacher. He is the son of Montie Bullis (HHS 1975) and Abbie (Haymaker-Bullis) Ashley (HHS 1976).

Education: Bullis graduated from Drury University, Springfield, Mo., with a bachelor’s in elementary education. He has 24 hours college math credit, 20 hours Spanish and extensive training in Literacy First.

Experience: USD 480, Liberal, Kan., 2010-2012, where he taught seventh grade math, and was head boys basketball at the middle school; Guymon Public Schools, fifth grade math teacher, 2012-2013; Chisholm Public Schools, 2013-present, where he has worked in the high school teaching honors geometry, AP calculus, geometry, head tennis coach, and is assistant boys basketball and assistant boys baseball coach. Bullis is certified in Google Apps, has extensive training in Literacy First and has a CDL endorsement.

Nathan Hill, a former Hennessey teacher and coach, will return to HHS as a math teacher and coach. Hill lives in Coalgate with his wife of 35 years, Lorie. They have three sons: Tyler (and wife Alison, and grandson, Lucas ), OKC; Levi, Piedmont, and Tristan, Edmond.

Education: Hill graduated from Tuttle High School, 1987; attended NWOSU, fall 1987; UCO, 1988-92 and summer 20-spring 2003; bachelor’s in education, UCO, 2004, physical ed/ health major; certified 2019 physical ed/health/safety/ U.S. history/Oklahoma history/government economics.

Experience: Chickasha Public Schools, 2003-07, high school lay football coach, powerlifting, Oklahoma history, health, PE; Hennessey Public Schools, 2007-2019; athletic director, assistant head football coach/defensive/huddle coordinator, JH head football, powerlifting, sixth grade basketball, history chairperson, personal finance, U.S. history. Playoffs 14 out of 19 years at Hennessey.
