The new restroom facilities at Newfield Community park on the north end of Kingfisher were vandalized over the weekend. The heating/air conditioning unit was pulled off the wall, as were several stall dividers and other items within the restroom. Police are seeking help from anyone who might have information about who was responsible. Kingfisher Police Department asks you to call 911 if you have the information. Police Chief David Catron is also reminding citizens of the curfew for parks and minors within the city. Curfew hours for Kingfisher Park, Shaw Park, Briscoe Sports Complex and Newfield Park are 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. The same hours apply for the curfew for minors, anyone 18-under. [Photos provided]
