If you’re seeing this article before 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, you still have time to buy an entry in the Kingfisher Educational Foundation’s annual Duck Race at Vernie Snow Aquatic Center.

Winners don’t have to be present at the event, which raises money for classroom enrichment grants for Kingfisher Public School teachers.

Cash prizes are awarded in the amount of $1,000, $500 and $300 for first through third place ducks and $100 for the hapless final finisher.
