Kingfisher City manager Dave Slezickey said the city lost electrical transmission from OG&E about 6 p.m. Sunday, leaving residents in the dark for several hours.

“OMPA (Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority) didn’t get anything definitive from OG&E other than crews were working on it,” he said.
