OKARCHE

Okarche FFA Chapter’s annual Christmas party was filled with laughter, friendly competition and a strong sense of brotherhood.

This group has overcome many challenges and obstacles, but it has never stopped them from working to become the best version of themselves possible.

Many teams say that they could be considered a “dream team.”

The Okarche FFA offi cer team (See Photo on Page 4C) is more like a family than a team.

The amount of times members of this team have been mistaken for siblings is a tribute to how close we really are.

During the busy season of February-April, we spend more time with each other, to the point where normal kids would get tired of one another.

That is not the case with this team; we are more of a family than just a group of kids.

The Okarche FFA Chapter has been all over the place the last couple months.

In November, our offi cer team traveled to Indianapolis, Ind., for the National FFA Convention.

The trip was nothing short of interesting.

We toured a boar stud operation, survived an insane escape room and became closer as a team.

As the busy months of February-April come along, we are gearing up for many early mornings and more time spent on the road.

Our livestock show kids are preparing for county, district and Oklahoma Youth Expo shows.

The season of Career Development Events (CDE) is slowly approaching and our livestock judging team, our milk quality team and others are gearing up for competitions.
