Okarche First Baptist Church recently welcomed a new youth minister and his family to its congregation. Ty Payne began serving in that role Oct. 1 and previously served in youth ministry for 13 years at El Reno First Baptist Church. Pastor James Inman said Payne and his family are “fitting in great” and students recently had the opportunity to enjoy a fall retreat at Falls Creek Baptist Camp under Payne’s leadership. “Ty loves working with the students and guiding them to be strong in their Christian faith,” Inman said. “He’s a solid Bible teacher that loves to see students grow in their faith and he and his family are a great addition to the church.” Payne and his wife, Chelsea, have four children, from left, Lila (6), Sophia (10), Emmy (9) and Mia (2).
