Hennessey firefighters will serve up their signature barbecue from 5-7:30 p.m. Saturday during their annual open house at the Main Street station.

The menu includes pork loin, fried potatoes, baked beans and ice cream. There is no charge for the meal, but donations are accepted.

Firefighters encourage everyone to come, bring your family and check out the fire trucks and equipment.

A medical helicopter is also planned, if the weather and call volume cooperate.
