OPS SCHOOL BOARD
MIKE KRITTENBRINK has served on the board for just over a year and is seeking his first full term. A 1997 OHS graduate, he earned a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from OSU in 2002. He’s the mechanical engineering manager at Nortek Air Solutions–Temtrol. Mike and his wife Andi have three children: Cal (15), Grady (13) and Will (10). “As a board member I will work to ensure the school board provides budget transparency; provides a safe environment for our children and staff; hires and retains excellent teachers and staff; builds trust between parents and teachers; and ensures our children receive the best education for a successful life.”
JOE ALIG attended OPS from K-12th grade, and graduated OSU with a bachelor’s in ag economics. He and his wife of 18 years, Karen, have two sons who attend Okarche High School. Joe is co-owner of Cen-Ok Services and has a small farming operation west of Okarche. “If given the opportunity to serve, my primary goal will be to challenge the administration to pursue a school culture focused on academics and preparing students for life after school, while maintaining our rich legacy in extra- curricular activities, and also to be the link that keeps the people of the school district informed of the schools decision in a transparent way.
