The OSSAA is continuing its traditional of honoring veterans for the first round of the football playoffs.

All veterans - either active duty, retired, reserve or National Guard - are invited to attend first round playoff games this Friday or Saturday.

All veterans and one guest will be admitted free of charge.

“The OSSAA appreciates the sacrifices of all veterans and hopes you will take advantage of this opportunity,” said Executive Director David Jackson.

To gain entry, simply show your Military ID card or driver’s license that shows your military status at the gate this Friday and/ or Saturday, and you and a guest will be admitted free of charge.

“Thank you for your service!” Jackson said.

All three Kingfisher County teams travel for the first round: Kingfisher is at Sulphur, Cashion is at Walters and Hennessey plays at Davis.
