Police investigate traffic accidents

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

August 1, 12:21 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Will Rogers Drive.

Debra Perdue, 48, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Ford, was northbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81 near the intersection of Will Rogers Drive.

Linda Gruntmeir, 73, Kingfisher, driving a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and attempted to turn left into a private drive.

According to the report, the Gruntmeir vehicle failed to yield and struck the Perdue vehicle in the passenger side.

Functional damage was reported to the Perdue vehicle and disabling damage to the Gruntmeir vehicle.

Perdue sustained possible arm injuries and was transported by private vehicle to the hospital.

Gruntmeir sustained no reported injuries. Officer Jeffrey Robbins
