The statewide Cruisin’ Oklahoma car club’s cruise this Sunday in Hennessey has been canceled, local promoter Tony Blackburn told the Times & Free Press Thursday.

Event organizers cited potential rain as the reason.

He said it has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 22.

However, Blackburn wrote in a text: “If the weather is good and some people show up this Sunday, we may have some small stuff, but the big event was moved.”

There were more than 800 cars and motorcycles at last year’s first event.
