Hennessey’s Reserve Police Angels will have their annual smoked Pork Butt Sale later this month, and pre-orders are due by Tuesday, October 12, said Shelley Burch, one of the angels.

Cost is $30 each and may be picked up Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Hennessey Fire Department between 1-6 p.m.

“Bring a pan to put your butt in,” reminds the Angels.

That group conducts the annual Christmas angel program for children and their families who need ex tra help at that time of the year, said Burch.

Reserve police officers deliver the gifts at Christmastime.

Those who want to help gifting again this year may also call Town Hall.

Assisting the Angels with the sale are the Oklahoma Pork Council and Seaboard Foods.
