AS PROMISED, crews from ATG Sports began preliminary work last week for a project that will culminate with the Kingfisher High School football/soccer fields and the north softball field having a synthetic surface. Several truckloads of a special rock were unloaded in the parking lot west of the football field. The rock is one of the base layers for the RamTurf, the name of the surface set to be installed. It’s just part of the work currently going on at the complex. Crews are pouring concrete for a parking area on the field’s south end, which is part of the project that will see new locker rooms built for soccer and junior high football teams.
