Races form for county seats
The filing period for four Kingfisher County offices began Wednesday and all but one have had races develop at press time of this edition.
As of 8:30 a.m. Friday, four people have filed to run for county sheriff: Jonathan Riedlinger, Aaron Pitts, Jeremiah Loper and Mike Shults.
Two people have filed for the court clerkâs position: Jessica Conner and Lauren Stroh.
Two have also filed for the District 2 county commissioner seat: David Roller and Mike Sparks.
Only one person had filed for county clerk - Emily Lee.
The filing period ended at 5 p.m. Friday (after press time).

The period for candidates to withdraw or contest ends Tuesday.
