Rain helps area wheat fields make stand
Showers fell across most of Kingfisher County last week, bringing up recently planted small grain crops in areas of the county.
Good stands were reported.
Although late, the small grain forage is expected to help alleviate the hay shortage which has seen stockmen scurrying to find forage for their cow herds during the winter months.
