The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following report:

December 7 - Failure to show insurance and possession of dangerous drugs prohibited - marijuana. Officer Steven Renbarger said in his report that he observed a northbound vehicle on U.S. 81 with a defective tail light and initiated a traffic stop. According to the report, the 41-year-old male driver was unable to provide proof of insurance and marijuana was located within the vehicle. Officers located six ma- son jars, a trash bag and a food container with a green leafy substance in them, which were collected as evidence, the report said. The suspect was cited for not having proof of insurance and unlawful possession of marijuana and the vehicle was towed, the report said.
