Recent Kingfisher PD reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
Sergeant Justin Trumbley took a report of fraud at BancFirst, 124 S. Main St.
According to the report, a bank representative stated bank records revealed on May 23, a female customer acquired a money order which later cleared the bank two separate times - at JP Morgan Chase Bank and First Bank of Okarche.
The representative said the duplicate money order was then charged back to the customer’s account, according to the report.
Trumbley said in his report he spoke with the customer and she stated she had placed the money order (along with two others) in the glove compartment of her car and had loaned her vehicle to a male acquaintance.
According to the report, a female individual later returned the car to her and she discovered the money orders were missing.
Trumbley reviewed an electronic copy of the fraudulently cashed money order, retrieving information regarding possible suspects and then obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s banking information pertaining to the incident, the report said.
Trumbley said in his report that the suspect’s bank account records appeared to indicate the money order had been fraudulently endorsed and deposited into the account.

Sergeant Justin Trumbley took a report of property damage at Boeckman Ford, 2200 U.S. 81.
According to the report, an 82-year-old male suspect attempted to pick up a white super duty Ford F350 to deliver it to another auto dealer for custom work.
Trumbley said in his report when he arrived the white Ford F350’s rear tires were in a rock bed and there was significant damage to its front end.
A gray Ford F350 located nearby in the parking lot had been struck, sustaining rear-end damage and a broken rear window, the report said.
Trumbley also observed that a Ford Raptor had damage to the front quarter panel, due to a tire that was dislodged from the gray F350 when it was struck by the white F350, according to the report.
Skid marks totaling 679 feet were observed throughout the parking lot starting from the white F350’s original location near the front door, over two decorative rock beds, to its final location in a third decorative rock bed, the report said.
According to the report, the suspect stated, “that he started the truck and pressed the gas and it just took off.”
June 14 - Enter structure with certain intent- break and enter.
Officer Jarred Tech responded to a report of a possible attempted break-in in the 500 block of West Wyatt Avenue.
According to the report, a 76-year-old female resident stated she was “trying to sleep when she heard what sounded like someone trying to break into the window of her bedroom.”
Tech said in his report that he surveyed the area around the residence and patrolled the neighborhood, but was unable to locate a suspect.
The officer also reported that he made contact with a neighbor in an attempt to retrieve surveillance video from their Ring doorbell.
June 16 - Protective order violation.
Officer Justin Conner took a report regarding a protective order violation in the 200 block of South Eighth Street.
