The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

June 1 - Domestic assault and battery/abuse/ great bodily injury, planning or threatening violent act and resisting executive officer.

Officer Steven Renbarger responded to a domestic altercation in the 200 block of South Sixth Street.

Officer Kyle Svoboda assisted with the investigation.

June 10 - False reporting of crime.

Lieutenant Justin Trumbley responded to a welfare check of a resident in the 400 block of South 11th Street.

According to the report, a 38-year-old male contacted 911 stating that “he hears screaming coming from a yellow house across from his.”

Officers made contact with the reporting party as well as the resident purported to have screaming coming from his house.

According to the report, the suspect had been trespassed from the neighbor’s property previously and the current call was the third placed to 911 in the past 24 hours The suspect was charged with false reporting of a crime.
