Recent Kingfisher PD reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
June 18 - Larceny from the house.
Sergeant Charles Trout took a report of theft in the 1300 block of South 10th Street.
According to the report, the homeowner stated he had hired an individual to install an air conditioning unit and when he returned to the house he discovered several missing items.
Those items included golf clubs, a cell phone, miscellaneous hand tools, a pole saw, a gaming system and power tools valued at approximately $3,000 to $4,000, the report said.
According to the report, the homeowner met with the 43-year-old male suspect after the incident and was able to retrieve some of the stolen items.
A 63-year-old male suspect was also observed at the residence and determined to be the owner of the vehicle used at the time of the burglary, the report said.
Trout said in his report that he made contact with the 43-year-old suspect, who reportedly admitted to taking some of the items as well as returning some of the items to the homeowner.
June 23 - Driving with license canceled/ suspended/revoked and failure to show insurance.
Officer Michael Farrar said in his report that he observed a northbound vehicle on U.S. 81 without the tail lights illuminated and initiated a traffic stop.
According to the report, the 21-year-old female driver was driving with a suspended license and no insurance.
The suspect was issued a warning for the defective equipment and arrested for driving while suspended and no insurance, the report said.
Officers transported the suspect to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.
Officer Kyle Svoboda assisted with the investigation.
June 26 - Domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Sergeant Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Kens Road.
Sergeant Charles Trout and Deputy Kejaun Joseph assisted with the investigation.
June 26 - Leaving the scene of accident involving damage.
Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of an accident which had occurred two days earlier in which the suspect had left the scene.
According to the report, a known 37-year-old female suspect backed out of a driveway and struck the reporting party’s vehicle.
Hollon said in his report, the reporting party stated she had attempted to make contact with the individual, but was unsuccessful.
Hollon photographed the damage to the reporting party’s vehicle and obtained video footage of the incident, the report said.
