Recent Kingfisher PD reports

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

February 12 - Warrant, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, unlawful possession of paraphernalia and obstructing officer.

Officer Michael Farrar responded to a report of an assault in the 800 block of South Third Street.

According to the report, a 29-year-old female suspect was determined to have an outstanding warrant in Oklahoma County.

Officers searched the suspect’s property and located a baggie containing a white powdery substance, four needles (two containing a clear liquid substance), a baggie with white crystalline substance and other drug related paraphernalia, according to the report.

Various credit cards and checks which did not belong to the suspect were also located in her property, the report said.

The suspect was placed underarrestforobstruction, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia and a warrant.

The suspect was then transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.

Sergeant Aaron Schlegel and Officers Matthew Hollon, Kyle Svoboda and Christopher McDaniels assisted with the investigation.

February 14 - Operate vehicle while suspended, denied or revoked, possession of dangerous drugs prohibited-marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to show insurance.

Officer Steven Renbarger said in his report that he observed a southbound vehicle on U.S. 81 with a defective brake light and initiated a traffic stop.

According to the report, the 57-year-old male driver was driving with a suspended driver’s license and no valid insurance.

Renbarger said in his report that he detected the odor of marijuana and performed a search of the vehicle.

According to the report, the search produced multiple marijuana items including four pipes, one bong, several syringes containing THC, several containers with a green leafy substance and several joints containing a green leafy substance.

The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.

Sergeant Aaron Schlegel and Officer Jarred Tech, as well as Deputy Kejaun Joseph, assisted with the investigation.

February 14 - Misdemeanor value-false pretense/bogus check/ con game.

Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of fraud at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 1301 S. Main St.

According to the report, a 35-year-old female suspect fraudulently charged items to another individual’s charge account a total of four times in December.

The manager and an employee at the store provided Hollon with a description of the suspect and the victim of the fraud was also able to provide a possible identity for the suspect, the report said.

Hollon said in his report that he made contact with the Hennessey Police Department regarding the suspect and was able to verify her identity.

The total reported value of the merchandise was $624.87.
