Recent Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
April 27 - Warrant, larceny of merchandise from retailer and criminal trespass.
Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of theft in progress at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive.
A Walmart asset protection employee reportedly stated a female suspect had previously stolen items on April 17 using the scan and go feature and was also currently at the self-checkout.
Conner made contact with the 35-year-old female suspect who was able to provide receipts for some of the items, but not other items which totaled $655.46, according to the report.
Conner said in his report that he determined the individual had two active warrants in Kingfisher County and she was placed under arrest for the warrants.
The suspect was transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.
Conner later discovered the suspect also had two other outstanding warrants, one in Pawnee County and the other in Texas, the report said.
The suspect had also been trespassed from a Walmart in another state for larceny and a second trespass was issued at the Kingfisher Walmart, according to the report.
In addition to the warrant, the suspect was charged with larceny of merchandise from retailer and criminal trespass.
Officer Matthew Hollon and Aaron Schlegel assisted with the investigation.
April 29 - Domestic assault and battery/abuse.
Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of a domestic altercation in the 100 block of North Eighth Street.
Officers Kyle Svoboda and Christopher McDaniel assisted with the investigation.
April 29 - Malicious injury/destruction of property.
Officer Aaron Schlegel said in his report he observed the mailbox at 700 W. Industrial Blvd. had been damaged and made contact with the Center of Family Love Air Filter Manufacturing production manager.
Schlegel took photographs of the mailbox, the report said.
The reported value of the damage was $100.
April 30 - Domestic abuse assault and battery.
Officer Derek Grassman responded to a report of a domestic assault in the 800 block of South Third Street.
Officer Jarred Tech assisted with the investigation.
April 30 - Domestic assault and battery/abuse.
Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of an altercation in the 800 block of South Third Street.
May 2 - Complaint.
Officer Matthew Hollon took a report of fraud in the 100 block of South Fifth Street.
According to the report, a 21-year-old female stated she had been scammed out of $100.
She reportedly stated that she received a request to send $40 in return for $2,400 from a friend’s Facebook account, whom she had not had contact with in a long time.
According to the report, she ultimately sent $100 and later determined the friend’s Facebook account had been hacked and was being used to scam other individuals out of money.
