Recent Kingfisher Police Department reports

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

October 15 - Malicious injury/destruction of property.

Sergeant Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of property damage in the 600 block of West Chisholm Drive.

According to the report, a 26-year-old female driver backed into a resident’s driveway and struck the mailbox.

The estimated cost for repair or replacement was $500 and the driver provided the funds to homeowner for the damage, the report said.

October 18 - Public intoxication.

Lieutenant Justin Trumbley responded to a report of an intoxicated individual in the area of Kingfisher Park.

According to the report, the 33-year-old male suspect appeared to exhibit signs of intoxication.

The suspect was placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.

Deputy Wiebelt assisted with the investigation.

October 21 - Protective order violation.

Assistant Chief Dustin Brodrick took a report regarding a possible protective order violation.

October 21 - Identity theft.

Lieutenant Justin Trumbley took a report regarding identity theft in the 900 block of South Eighth Street.

October 27 - Domestic assault and battery/ abuse.

Officer Steven Renbarger responded to a report of a domestic altercation in the 800 block of South Third Street.
