Recent Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
November 1 - Assault and battery.
Officer Kyle Svoboda responded to an altercation in the 100 block of North Fifth Street.
Officer Jarred Tech assisted with the investigation.
November 4 - No valid driver’s license, false personation and warrant.
Officer Jarred Tech said in his report that he observed a vehicle with an expired tag on U.S. 81 and initiated a traffic stop.
According to the report, the 30-year-old female driver was driving without a driver’s license, but provided officers with an alleged identity which was determined to have an outstanding warrant in Texas.
The suspect’s mother arrived on the scene and provided officers a photo on her phone of the suspect’s alleged valid driver’s license, the report said.
According to the report, the suspect was placed under arrest for the warrant and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.
During the booking process at the jail, it was determined the suspect was impersonating another individual and her actual identity was confirmed.
Officers also determined the suspect didn’t have a valid driver’s license and she was additionally charged with operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license and false personation.
Officer Derek Grassmann assisted with the investigation.
November 4 - Obstructing officer, no valid driver’s license and harboring fugitive.
Officer Jarred Tech said in his report that in following up with the previous report involving the suspect with the Texas warrant, he determined the suspect’s mother was driving with a suspended license and she was charged with no valid driver’s license, obstructing an officer and harboring a fugitive.
