Recent Kingfisher Police Dept. reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
July 15 - Obscene/ threatening or harassing phone calls and planning or threatening violent act.
Officer Christopher Mc-Daniel responded to a report of an individual receiving threatening messages in the 800 block of West Aspen Drive.
July 20 - Operate/ APC vehicle under infl uence of intoxicating substance, transporting intoxicating beverage or low-point beer and no valid driver’s license.
Officer Kyle Svoboda said in his report that he observed a southbound vehicle make a U-turn on South 13th Street, while also failing to maintain its lane and he initiated a traffic stop.
According to the report, the 32-year-old male driver appeared to exhibit signs of intoxication, but refused to perform field sobriety tests.
It was determined the suspect was driving without a valid driver’s license and an open Coors Light beer can was also located in the vehicle, the report said.
The suspect was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license, transporting an open container and driving under the influence and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.
Officer Michael Farrar assisted with the investigation.
July 21 - Domestic assault and battery/abuse.
Officer Kyle Svoboda responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of South 11th Street.

July 22 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer.
Officer Jarred Tech responded to a report of theft at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive.
According to the report, a 64-year-old male allegedly stole multiple items totaling $820.31.
An asset protection employee stated the suspect had also previously stolen merchandise on another occasion.
July 22 - Trespassing.
Officer Kyle Svoboda responded to a report of an unwanted individual at the Holiday Inn Express, 1708 S. Main St.
According to the report, an employee stated that the 28-year-old male individual had occasionally rented a room, but had begun to hang out in the lobby helping himself to food and utilities without permission and management wanted him trespassed.
Svoboda was unable to locate the suspect on that date, but on July 24, Captain Dustin Brodrick informed the suspect he had been trespassed from the property, the report said.
July 24 - Trespassing.
Sergeant Aaron Schlegel and Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of trespassing at Holiday Inn Express, 1708 S. Main St.
According to the report, an employee reported that a 28-year-old suspect who had been trespassed from the property earlier that day had returned, but left before the officers’ arrival.
July 25 - Trespassing.
Officer Jarred Tech responded to a report of trespassing at Holiday Inn Express, 1708 S. Main St.
According to the report, a 28-year-old suspect who had been trespassed from the property had returned and was present when the officer arrived.
Tech said in his report the suspect gave a false name, birthdate and place of residence.
The suspect was charged with trespassing and obstructing an officer.
July 27 - Domestic assault and battery/ abuse.
Officer Jarred Tech responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of South Main Street.
