The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following report:

June 28 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer and receiving/ possessing/ concealing stolen property.

Corporal Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of theft at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive.

According to the report, an employee discovered several boxes of merchandise that had been tampered with and the merchandise was missing.

Surveillance footage showed three male subjects enter the store, with two of them proceeding to the electronics department where each removed a pair of headphones from their packaging and exited the store with the unpurchased merchandise, the report said.

Officers were able to identify the suspects’ vehicle and made contact with the suspects at a residence, according to the report.

A 23-year-old male and 27-year-old male suspect admitted to each taking a pair of headphones and they returned the items to the officers, the report said.

According to the report, it was also later determined that the 27-year-old male and a 24-year-old male suspects had each taken a 3 Plus Vibe Lite BT watch as well.

The total reported value of the stolen merchandise was $278.64.
