Recent KPD reports

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports: November 22 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer.

Officer Christopher Mc-Daniel responded to a report of theft at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive.

According to the report, a 58-year-old female suspect was observed taking several items out of the packaging and placing them in a 55-year-old female suspect’s bag.

The suspects then proceeded to the checkout where they purchased other items and then exited the store without paying for the concealed items, the report said.

The reported value of the stolen items was $119.98.

November 22 - Assault and battery-state.

Officer Christopher Mc-Daniel responded to a report of an altercation in the 1300 block of South 12th Place.

November 28 - Trespassing.

Sergeant Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of trespassing in the 400 block of South 11th Street.

December 1 - Domestic

abuse by strangulation.

Officer Matthew Hollon took a report of a domestic altercation in the 1500 block of South Seventh Street.

Sergeant Charles Trout assisted with the investigation.

December 1 - Planning or threatening a violent act.

Officer Jarred Tech responded to a report of threats being made at Jacket Corner, 701 N. Main St.

According to the report, a 24-year-old male cashier got into a verbal altercation with a customer and made threatening statements.

December 5 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer.

Sergeant Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of theft at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive.

According to the report, a 25-year-old male employee allegedly admitted to stealing over $600 of various food and drinks items over several months.

Schlegel said in his report that he received documentation of nine incidents which occurred from Nov. 10 - Nov. 30 totaling $73.08.

Officer Justin Conner assisted with the investigation.

December 5 - Leaving the scene of accident/ unattended vehicle.

Officer Justin Conner responded to a hit and run accident in the 900 block of South 11th Street.

According to the report, Brian Miller stated he observed damage to his vehicle, which appeared to have been caused by another vehicle backing into it.
