The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

June 13 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer. — Sergeant Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of theft at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive. According to the report, a 41-year-old female employee “had been stealing for approximately one month.” Schlegel said in his report he was provided with a report documenting the thefts, surveillance footage and receipts showing the value of the losses. The reported total value for the nine stolen items was $77.51.

June 19 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer. — Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of theft at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive. According to the report, a theft occurred on June 17, in which a male subject exited the store through the lawn and garden emergency exit without paying for merchandise in his possession. The reported total value of the known items which were stolen was $73.85. According to the report, the 64-year-old male suspect was identified and had previously been arrested for larceny of merchandise from a retailer in Canadian County.

June 20 - Burglary-second degree (auto). — Sergeant Charles Trout took a report of theft at 1504 S. Main St. According to the report, a female individual stated that she had parked her car in a vacant lot on July 18, and when she returned, multiple items were missing. An identification, car seat, clothes, shoes, iPhone 11 Mini, Apple Watch and medication were reported to be stolen, the report said. According to the report, the reporting party later indicated the incident had occurred on June 19 and it was possible the items were stolen at a park which she had visited after leaving the vacant lot on Main Street.
