Recent KPD reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
December 15 - Embezzlement (under $500).
Lieutenant Justin Trumbley responded to a report of theft at First Shamrock Care Center, 1415 S. Main St.
According to the report, a 47-year-old female employee received $10 from a resident for items she sold to the resident which belonged to the facility.
December 17 - Tattooing or body piercing without a license.
Officer Aubrey Massey responded to a report of alleged unauthorized tattooing involving a minor in the 1100 block of South Eighth Street.
A 21-year-old female reportedly admitted to performing tattooing services at her residence and in one instance provided a tattoo to a 17-year-old “with the express permission and in the direct presence of the minor’s parent.”
Officers determined the suspect does not possess a valid professional license for tattooing and her private residence is not registered or licensed as a commercial tattooing establishment, the report said.
The tattooing device was seized and the associated supplies and equipment were photographed.

December 18 - Exploitation of elderly or disabled adult.
Sergeant Justin Conner responded to a report of exploitation at First Shamrock Care Center, 1415 S. Main St.
According to the report, a 35-year-old female employee requested financial assistance via text messages from a resident, which is against state law.
