The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: April 10, 12:20 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Miles Avenue.

A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Toyota Prius, was eastbound on West Miles Avenue.

A 17-year-old female, driving a 2020 Kia Sorento, was northbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.

According to the report, the 16-year-old’s vehicle proceeded eastbound across U.S. 81 and struck the 17-year-old’s vehicle as it was attempting to turn right onto East Miles Avenue.

Functional damage was reported to the 17-yearold’s vehicle and disabling damage to the 16-year-old’s vehicle.

The 16-year-old female sustained non-incapacitating leg injuries.

Captain Dustin Brodrick investigated the accident.

April 13, 11:24 a.m. - At Locust Avenue and South Seventh Street.

Marilyn Arthurs, 61, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Nissan Frontier, was northbound on South Seventh Street.

Brooke Barton, 18, Kingfi sher, driving a 2008 Dodge SQ1, was eastbound on West Locust Avenue.

According to the report, the Barton vehicle failed to yield and was struck by the Arthurs vehicle in the passenger side.

Functional damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.
