Recent traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:
October 22, 12:04 p.m. - At West Locust Avenue and South Seventh Street.
Alexander Wehrenberg, 25, Kingfisher, driving a 2011 Chevrolet C15, was southbound on South Seventh Street.
Randy Fields, 22, Oklahoma City, driving a 2019 Dodge Ram Pro-Master, was eastbound on West Locust Avenue.
According to the report, the Fields vehicle failed to yield at the intersection of South Seventh Street and struck the Wehrenberg vehicle in the passenger side.
Functional damage was reported to the Wehrenberg vehicle and disabling damage to the Fields vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident.
November 1, 7:33 p.m. - At U.S. 81/Main Street and Will Rogers Drive.
Jeremiah Homier, 45, Kingfisher, driving a 2007 Chevrolet SC1, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.
Jose Ramirez Diaz, 26, Kingfisher, driving a 2007 Chevrolet SK1, was also southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.
According to the report, the Homier vehicle stopped to make a left turn into 1505 S. Main St. and the Ramirez Diaz vehicle struck the Homier vehicle in the rear.
Disabling damage was reported to the Ramirez Diaz vehicle and functional damage to the Homier vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

November 2, 5 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Will Rogers Drive.
Chase Becenti, 34, Enid, driving a 2022 Indian Chief motorcycle, was southbound on U.S. 81.
According to the report, the Becenti motorcycle attempted to turn left onto East Will Rogers Drive and “accelerated to avoid a collision (with oncoming northbound traffic) and lost control.”
Becenti sustained possible trunk, arm and leg injuries, but refused treatment by Kingfisher EMS, the report said.
Minor damage was reported to the motorcycle.
