Register, nominate now for the annual chamber banquet

By

The Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce has announced the date and theme for its annual banquet.

More than 350 guests are expected to gather Jan. 27 at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building to celebrate the theme of “This is My Town.”

Networking and games will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The meal - “A Taste of Kingfisher” - will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Afterward, several will be recognized for their contributions to the chamber and city.

That includes the naming of the Citizen of the Year and Volunteer of the Year as well as awards that were added last year, Small and Large Business of the Year.

Throughout the evening, the focus will be Kingfisher, said Chamber Executive Director Shauna Rupp.

“This is a time to come together honoring unity, connection, community and pride of everything Kingfisher,” she said.

Last year, guests got all “gussied up” for the gala event, but this year’s attire will match the theme.

Each individual is encouraged to wear their branded apparel representing their business and association.

“This event will also support local businesses that can ‘brand’ apparel for you, but don’t wait too long to get your order in,” said Rupp.

Once again, table sponsorships are available, offering an additional opportunity to advertise your company with branded items, Rupp added.

Nominations are now open for the Volunteer and Citizen of the Year, and Large and Small Businesses of the Year.
