Officers and board members of the Kingfisher County Retired Educators Association (KCREA) met this summer in the home of Donna Jech to work on plans for the coming year. All retired educators and support personnel are welcome and encouraged to join the association. Officers for the 2022-23 year include Teders, Howard, Golbek and Jech. Other board members are Peck and Florene Tipton. The purpose of the association is to promote the interests and welfare of retired educators, to maintain retired educators’ identity with the education profession, to enhance the image of retired educators and to participate in educational and community activities. The group awards a scholarship annually to a county college student majoring in education. This year’s recipients was Jill Newer of Kingfisher.
