There will be some familiar names visiting the Kingfisher Roundup Club Arena this weekend.

The 66th annual Kingfi sher Rodeo is Friday and Saturday nights and offers a full slate of competition.

Among the more wellknown names in rodeo circles - and locally - is Nick Sartain.

A Yukon native, the team roper was the 2009 PRCA world champion and 2000 rookie of the year.

He’ll be competing in Friday night’s slack along with teammate Mark Miller.

Trent Creager of Stillwater will take part in Saturday’s tie-down roping.

Creager is a former National Finals Rodeo qualifier.

Also taking part in that tie-down roping Saturday will be Okmulgee’s Glenn Jackson.

Although accomplished in the rodeo arena, Jackson is perhaps better-known recently for being a stunt double on “Yellowstone.”
