Rotary Club hosts 4 KHS seniors

Four Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Joining the local civic group were Jaden Bain, Ariana Rivera, Kamryn Purintun and Karen Muñoz.

Bain is the son of Josh and Beverly Bain.

He’s active in soccer, FCCLA where he serves as vice president and received seventh place in geometry at the Southwestern Interscholastic Meet.

Bain also is an elementary aide and volunteers with Kingfisher Winter Nights.

He plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and major in information technology.

Rivera is the daughter of Fatima Blas and Noe Rivera.

She is active in soccer and was selected all-district and is a member of the National Honor Society where she is the historian and a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society.

Rivera also received the 4.0 Award and Academic Award and is involved at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

She plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and major in business/marketing and management.

Purintun is the daughter of Stuart and Stacey Purintun.

She’s active in cheerleading and was a member of the 2023 state championship team, FCA and was selected as Distinguished Young Woman of Kingfisher County.

Purintun was also a Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership recipient, is a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She plans to attend UCO and major in finance.

Muñoz is the daughter of Juan and Lupita Muñoz.

She’s active in soccer, is on the KHS Photography staff, was an Oklahoma Girls State delegate and is involved at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Muñoz plans to attend UCO and major in elementary education.
