Rotary Club hosts 4 KHS seniors

Four Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Joining the local civic group were Austin Poarch, Myles Harrison, Cale Leck and Ryan Sanders.

Poarch is the son of Trey and Hope Poarch.

He’s active in the welding program at Chisholm Trail Technology Center and has earned 3G stick, 3G Mig and 6G Pipe certifications.

Poarch also attends First Baptist Church.

He plans to enter the workforce in the oil and gas industry or attend college, majoring in chemical engineering.

Harrison is the son of Jared and Jessica Harrison.

He’s active in golf, is on the KHS Photography staff and received second place in the photojournalism category of the International Youth Photo Contest of the Photography Society of America.

Harrison is a member of the National Honor Society and attends the First United Methodist Church.

He plans to attend Methodist University and major in professional golf management.

Leck is the son of Kris and Amy Leck.

He’s active in the automotive program at CTTC and is in STUCO and is vice president.

Leck plans to attend Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology and major in diesel mechanics.

Sanders is the son of Micheal and Lisa Sanders.

He’s active in golf and was class president of his freshman and sophomore classes.

Sanders plans to pursue a career in farming.
