Rotary Club hosts 4 KHS seniors
Four Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.
Joining the local civic group were Brooke Barton, Mia Franco, Kadyn Daugherty and Hailey Bieren.
Barton is the daughter of Benjamin and Lisa Barton.
She’s active in STUCO, choir and tennis.
Barton was also a soccer manager and is a lifeguard and is CPR certified through the American Heart Association and American Red Cross.
She plans to attend Redlands Community College and major in business.
Franco is the daughter of David and Guadalupe Franco.
She’s active in tennis, STUCO, was the sophomore homecoming chair and is a basketball manager.
Franco also is a member of the National Honor Society, has been listed on the principal’s honor roll and superintendent’s honor roll and is a youth leader at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
She plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and major in marketing and entrepreneurship.
Daugherty is the daughter of Derek and Micah Daugherty.
She’s active in tennis, STUCO, yearbook and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Daugherty has also received the 4.0 Award, is a member of the National Honor Society, Center of Family Love Teen Board and In the Middle of a Miracle Teen Board and attends First Baptist Church.
She plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in nutritional sciences/ pre-medicine.
Bieren is the daughter of Mitchel and Stephanie Bieren.
She’s active in FFA and serves as president, was on the national qualifying milk quality and products team and swine show team and has received multiple showmanship awards.
Bieren is also on the yearbook staff, involved in STUCO and attends First Baptist Church.
She plans to attend Redlands Community College and major in animal science.
