Five Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Joining the local civic group were Aline Jordan, Yamile Saucedo, Ernesto Torrez, Sydney Watkins and Candelaria Gutierrez.

Jordan is the daughter of Oscar Jordan and Esmeralda Camarena.

She’s active in yearbook, was named Spanish Club queen and received subject awards in economics and government.

Jordan is also active in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

She plans to attend Redlands Community College then transfer to the University of Central Oklahoma and major in elementary education.

Saucedo is the daughter of Hector and Veronica Saucedo.

She’s active in track, soccer and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Saucedo also attends Chisholm Trail Technology Center and is a member of Future Health Professionals (HOSA) and the National Technical Honor Society.

She’s active in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Saucedo plans to attend Oklahoma State University and pursue a career as a nurse practitioner.

Torrez is the son of Jose Torrez and Mayra Torrez.

He’s active in soccer and attends St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Torrez plans to work in the family auto repair business.

Watkins is the daughter of Scott and Shelly Watkins.

She’s active in tennis, STUCO, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, attends RCC and was a state qualifi er in tennis.

Watkins is also active in FISH Club and is a member of the First Baptist Church.

She plans to attend Oklahoma Baptist University and major in nutrition.

Gutierrez is the daughter of Maria Gutierrez.

She’s president of the Spanish Club, was named Student of the Month and received the Academic Award.

Gutierrez also received second place in American Government at the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Interscholastic Meet.

She plans to attend a technology center to become a esthetician.
